Comprehensive Neuropsychological Care
Specialized assessment focused on understanding cognitive health and guiding next steps
A neuropsychological evaluation is an important step toward understanding your brain health
A neuropsychological evaluation helps you understand how your brain functions through a comprehensive assessment of thinking skills, including memory, attention, and language. We walk you through your results, explain your cognitive strengths and areas of difficulty, and offer practical recommendations to guide your care and next steps.
Common Reasons for a Neuropsychological Evaluation
-
Noticing increased forgetfulness, difficulty remembering recent events or conversations, or trouble learning and remembering new information.
-
When changes in memory or thinking raise questions about normal aging or something more.
-
Noticing changes in thinking, memory, attention, or emotional functioning following a concussion or brain injury. An evaluation can help clarify these concerns, provide education about recovery and what to expect, and guide strategies for returning to daily activities.
-
Difficulty staying focused, managing distractions, staying organized, or completing tasks, including questions about possible ADHD.
-
Understanding how a medical or neurological condition may affect memory, thinking, and the ability to manage everyday activities, as well as what to expect during recovery.
-
Noticing difficulties with executive functions, including planning, organization, reasoning, decision-making, or solving everyday problems.
-
Finding it harder to manage medications, finances, appointments, driving, or other daily responsibilities.
-
When work tasks feel more challenging, keeping up with responsibilities becomes more difficult, or coworkers have noticed changes in your performance.
